The pages that do not let me load to detect ABP (the news websites), discovered that if I load “half of the website” and stop it on time, page complete. Why am I no longer able to “block element?” Many ads still get thru and I was using “block element” to eliminate them. At first, I kinda overlooked it because it was on my school computer, but when I used my home one and it didn’t have this, I was miserable. I would love to support certain youtubers like Mark Rober, MrBeast and others for their amazing content, but I’m too annoyed by all the crappy and spammed ads in other videos.įor XP users on Opera 36, will this roll us back to the last known version of ABP that worked for us (3.6 I think?), or will we still be stuck upgrading to versions that don’t work?ĪBP does not work on spotify, can this be fixed?
I would be very exited about a feature that is able to detect certain youtube channels and deactivate AdBlocker for them. I had ABP off for Twitter but am turning it off to avoid this distracting feature. When I am on Twitter, for example, the button blinks rapidly with a red question mark and goes back to grey over and over again when the page either reloads or (I am guessing) makes a server call. However, I don’t much care for the odd “shimmer” that the toolbar button now has when I load a new page or when it reloads on its own.

This means that ABP will work as it normally does, but you’ll see ads on the sites that you choose to whitelist.
